The Duchess of Sussex, 42, wore LA-based fashion designer Heidi Merrick’s ivory “Ginger” dress for the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida.
On the Heidi Merrick website, the dress is described to have a “drop waist skirt” that is “pocketed and pleated, swinging with you and the wind”. The fabric of the dress is made from silk and hemp, adding a luxurious and soft feel.
Looking elegant, Meghan wore the “Ginger” halter midi dress in Ivory that is retailing for £421. Having appeared in the designer dress on Friday, April 12, the dress has nearly sold out over the weekend, with only the XXS now available to preorder.
However, ASOS have a look-alike of the beautifully crafted dress for a fraction of the price – the Sleeveless One Shoulder Twist Neck Pencil Midi Dress in Natural for £46.
While Meghan wore Heidi Merrick’s signature oversized black frames (£176), H&M do a pair of dark sunnies for as little as £7.99.
