Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker announces baffling new promotional campaign | Music | Entertainment

Blink-182 fans know drummer Travis Barker has placed his name on a number of projects and brands over the years, but this latest might be his most extreme yet. He was just announced as the new face of Liquid Death water, but his special edition can of the water comes with a “premium enema bulb”.

Yeah, you read that right. Travis Barker is promoting a new can of water that comes with its own enema appliance.

Of course, this limited edition – the Enema of the State – is a play on Blink-182’s third studio album, 1999’s Enema of the State (the first featuring Barker as the group’s drummer).

The limited edition Liquid Death x Travis Barker package will be available soon, and each can is “hand-signed” by Barker himself. Unfortunately (?), the premium package is only available in the USA right now.

Barker is the latest famous face to join the Liquid Death family, with the likes of Tony Hawk and Martha Stewart previously signing up to the brand.

Barker, who recently got married to Kourtney Kardashian, has also released a hilarious YouTube video advert that you can see here to promote the campaign.

In the video, he told fans: “What’s my secret? How did I marry the woman of my dreams? How have I had such a successful career in music? I use Liquid Death mountain water. In my a*****e. Thanks to my new signature Enema of the State collectable kid, I’ve been able to turn my dreams into reality and now you can too.”

The ad did confirm, however: “Enema of the State is a limited edition collectable adult art piece and not intended for use as a real medical device. Enema of the State should never be placed in or near your b******e without consulting a doctor first. Also, you should not place it in or near your friend’s b******e without consulting them or their doctor first either.”

Liquid Death is described as premium mountain water from an “underground mountain source protected by a few hundred feet of stone and contains naturally occurring minerals”.

The brand bills itself as the “first bold, hilarious beverage company focused on health and sustainability”. Grab yours now.
